During the event we will be raising money for Road to Awareness. Road to Awareness is an annual employee fundraising campaign between UNICEF and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Starwood associates from across Europe, Africa and the Middle East are raising money for UNICEF WASH projects across Africa and the Middle East.

Since its launch in 2008, the phenomenal enthusiasm and support of Starwood’s associates has helped raise over US $4.2 million for UNICEF.

This event will endeavor to raise the profile of charity Road to Awareness and a part of every race registration will be selected to Al Jalila Foundation.

Once you have registered to partake in this event you are promoted to set up a profile that will give you the ability to donate a voluntary amount of money for RTA. We would encourage all swimming participants to invite friends; colleagues and family to make donations to RTA via their profile. Each donation will be very much appreciated therefore we ask race participants to bring their family and friends along to show support and make a day of it.
